Yuki Hayashi is a makeup artist whose modern approach to beauty draws influence from both his hometown of Tokyo as well as the energy, diversity, and culture of New York City, where he is now based.
Hayashi finds himself influenced by the physical world and the atmosphere around him, from the people he meets to elements, shapes and colors found in nature. Hayashi pushes the established boundaries of mainstream beauty, aiming to emphasize the naturalness of the individual. His approach is free-spirited, authentic, and without creative limitation.

Scandebergs
Scandebergs is an artist duo composed of Alberto Albanese and Stefano Colombini, image makers and directors living in London and originally from Italy.
Through the use of a distinctive colour palette and attentive character building, they take a cinematic approach to their imagery, creating environments filled with magic realism and exploring narrative themes within their photographic universe. Their practice investigates the concept of liminality and their fictional characters subvert stereotypes through Scandebergs’ queer lens.

Cruz Valdez
Cruz Valdez is a New York-based photographer who has an affinity for bringing fantasy to form. Her love for fashion developed in her formative years after studying the severity and glamour in the pages of publications like Vogue Italia, Self Service, and Vogue Paris, as well as being inspired by 1960’s cinema.
She started photographing models in her apartment after she moved from California to New York in 2016. She also began shooting members of her community in an ongoing portrait series that still inspires much of her work today. As a trans woman, Valdez has further explored identity & representation which remains a pillar in her work. The intimacy, signature sharpness and tension between light & darkness she channeled in these early collaborations can now be seen today on the cover of magazines like GQ, Vogue Japan, Interview, Purple and Dazed, among others.
She has also shot for top global fashion brands including Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera, Dion Lee, Savage Fenty, as well as Bottega Veneta. Valdez’s distinctive style and exacting eye position her as one of the most recognizable new talents in photography today.

Alice Martinelli is a New York-based set designer. Born and raised in the north of Italy, Alice started her career in interior design studying at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) and then going on to Domus Academy Milano where she earned her master's degree.

Jackson Heller is a hair colorist in New York City.
Beginning his studies in art school, Heller became enamored by the transformative power of hair color. Now with having opened his own salon in the heart of New York City’s West Village, Jackson Heller has emerged as a top colorist.

A publication which seeks to examine fashion, contemporary art, and theory through the guise of the male experience. Yumiko Hikage
Yumiko is a Japanese hairstylist currently based in Paris.
Studying cinema and literature at university, Yumiko’s creative interests developed to focus her career in the world of photography, art and beauty. Originally working in a hair salon in Tokyo. Yumiko quickly became an assistant for renowned session hairstylists within the industry before carving her own path.
Taking references and inspiration from expressionist and surrealist art along with sculpture, Yumiko creates distinctive and graphic styles in her work as an artist. Yumiko is a talented wig maker and well versed in creating styles with shape, texture and colour.
Yumiko has contributed to titles such a Buffalo Zine, Document Journal, Interview, Luncheon, Revue, SSAW and Vogues. Additionally, she has worked with clients such as Louis Vuitton, Kenzo and Lanvin.
She also holds the position as a brand ambassador for Hair Rituel by Sisley. Her unique head spa concept, which is based on Japanese Shiatsu massage is now developed within Sisley’s treatments internationally.

For this project, Brookes followed a group of young surfers from Venice Beach on their adventures up and down the coast. Adrien Dubost is a French Still Life photographer and film maker based in London.

Makeup artist Chiao-Li, born in China and raised in the Netherlands describes herself as a ‘designer, dreamer and face painter’ and has cemented these creative pillars throughout her practise within the beauty industry.
Her talent took her around the world from a young age, finding her feet as an apprentice under a renowned make-up artist, which created the building blocks of her journey as a celebrated artist in her own right.
She has grown a firm following in the industry for her talent, creativity and innovation. Creating elegant, tasteful, and inspiring make-up looks. Her work not only reflects the natural beauty of the subject, but also creates inspiring and unique looks with painterly and artistic like techniques taken from elements of fantasy after reading fairy tale stories as a child.
Through her meticulous and accomplished application, Chiao-Li uses her direction with make-up artistry as storytelling by creating characters, using the face as a canvas to create extraordinary and unique looks that are influenced by surrealist artists such as Picasso and Dali.

Miguel Bento
Miguel Bento is a London based set designer. His curiosity lies among different subjects, from traditional craftsmanship to sci-fi, architecture and cinema as well as different materials. In recent years he has started working more on Spatial Design projects, from retail spaces to exhibitions and installations where he implements an eclectic approach.
Since graduating from Performance Design at Central Saint Martins in 2013. Miguel has collaborated with photographers such as Craig McDean, Alasdair McLellan, Harley Weir, Campbell Addy, Mert and Marcus, Daniel Sannwald, Brett Lloyd, Coco Capitán and Casper Sejersen. Kota Suizu
London based hairstylist Kota Suizu was born in Tokyo but grew up in Perth, Western Australia. He moved back to Tokyo in his mid-teens where his interest for hair, art and fashion really developed. He amassed a vast collection of magazines which inspired him to experiment and play with creating abstract hair structures. This in turn led him to decide to study hairdressing.
Upon graduation, he began an apprenticeship at a salon in Tokyo where he worked for a number of years. In 2008, he moved to London to pursue his ambitions as a freelance hair stylist.
Kota collaborates with photographers Harley Weir, Johnny Dufort, Mark Kean and stylists Danny Reed, Anders Sølvsten Thomsen and Julia Sarr-Jamois. Kota regularly works with publications such as British Vogue, Perfect, POP, Re-Edition, Self Service and The Face.

Saffron Goddard
Born and raised in Somerset, Saffron studied Fashion at university. She started her career assisting stylists. Whilst on set, she developed an interest for the role of the manicurist and saw an opportunity to combine her love of nails with her pursuit of fashion. After completing her training and assisting established manicurists, she quickly began working solo on her own shoots.
Saffron has built a loyal client base who value her calm presence and meticulous approach to manicure. Her clean, healthy, natural nail look has stamped her trademark with clients and brands. Edward Lampley is a hairstylist based in New York.

French set designer, Justine Ponthieux, followed a double course in fine arts between France, beaux-arts de Paris and ACCD in Los Angeles. During that time she experimented in multiple fields from sculpture techniques, modeling carving and casting, to drawing and paintings. The multiplicity of skills and the love of decorative art brought her to set design. Justines flair for set design is developed through her iconographic research and studio time enabling her to be continuously innovative. Aside from her set design practice, Justine Ponthieux continues to develop a body of work in drawings, sculpture and paintings. She exhibits her work in multiple galleries, most recently at Galerie Mansart (2021) and High art in Paris (2020). She works alongside photographers such as; Julien Martinez Leclerc, Luis Alberto Rodriguez and Johnny Dufort.
